I looked on the packet and it is Vanilla Almond, naturally flavored, 100% whey, and has 100 good calories. Turning the packet over it can be added to cold water, milk, or juice. I figured I would like mine as a shake, so I poured the powder into a 12 ounce glass, and initially added 4 ounces of fat free milk.
This was way too thick for me, and so I poured in a further 4 ounces to make it an 8 ounce drink. It states on the directions to use 3 to 8 ounces of liquid with it. It can be mixed with a spoon, shaker, or a blender. I was in a hurry so used a spoon, and it worked fine.
The color is beige, and it looks just like 'almond milk'. When I put the glass up to my nose, the smell was of almond, and not vanilla. I took the first sip, and could take both flavors. Probably the almond was the stronger of the two.
The shake was smooth, and there were a couple of places around the glass, that is hadn't mixed completely. This was totally my fault as I could have stirred it longer, or got out the blender.
As I had used cold milk, it really did taste good, and almond isn't a flavor I would choose. If I had purchased it, I would have gone for chocolate, as I just love chocolate shakes.
A little more about the product from the packaging:
"Research proven since 1993.
All natural 100 good for you calories.
America's #1 protein."
I used the full packet .91 ounce (26g), but if I was taking it from the container, I would have used 1 scoop. Although it states 100 calories, that would have been with water, by having fat free milk, it did up my calories slightly. However, with me having osteoporosis, I need the extra calcium.

I wanted to put down the nutritional facts, because there are no artificial sweeteners, and no extra sugar added. I feel that these are great calories, and I would much rather make myself a protein shake, then pick up a candy bar. I know that it is good for my body, and puts back what I take out of it, by walking, swimming, dancing, aerobics, etc.
Sometimes you don't want to put out $20 or more, on a product that you are not sure of. By sending me a full size sample packet, I am now planning on purchasing this product.
