Custom Animation involves the animation of a slide show in Microsoft Power Point, by the application of a sequence of special effects to objects. These effects are included with the help of either custom animation function or by means of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). Animation Trigger is another excellent tool, which induces the special effects that appear, when objects are clicked in the slide show.
Schools, generally have Microsoft Power Point as part of the students' curriculum. They are trained to make their own slides, which feature easy custom animations. At a higher level, the students are trained in procedures like Hyperlinks and Animation Trigger. Hyperlinks are very outstanding tools that use Power Point for the purpose of documenting or to connect a website or a highlighted item and use it as a link for two pages.
You can design spectacular games with the help of Hyperlink and Animation Trigger. The sequence from question to the answer part can well be set up with these tools and also more complex games, like the popular dungeons and dragons' games can be designed using the animations in Power Point. A domain set up here, enables the gamer to move left, right or collect certain objects.
If you want to design your own animation, with the help of Windows Explorer, search for QuikAnim.ppt folder. Before starting the animation part, set a back up facility for the folder. This will help to replace the details, when the original file is damaged accidentally. Then select the QuikAnim file and right click. Select the Properties tab and go to the General option and click on it.
Uncheck the Read Only file and select OK. Power Point will be launched with a double click and further editing can be done in the file. To go to the last slide, press Ctrl and End button. You can do a Title Slide Layout by clicking the Insert or New Slide option. In the Title Placeholder, enter the name of the type, which the animation plan belongs to. Enter the name of the animation in the subtitle space. Choose the Custom Animation after right clicking on the title placeholder. Add the effects that are required and repeat the process again for the subtitle place holder.
With the above steps you have finished designing animation for the title slide. For the non-title slides, choose Insert or Duplicate Slide option and add a Title and Text layout to it. For the next part, repeat the steps of the earlier Title placeholder part. This will complete the Custom Animations part. You can add a Slide Transition to this slide if it is needed. Mostly the transition is a part of the animations in Power Point. With this, you have finished successfully your animations, and replicating the above steps will give you as many numbers of custom animations that you want to design.
