I say just about anything because I don't want to promote using illegal or unethical methods to achieve your goal. What I am referring to instead, is how much you're willing to put into making your dream come true. How strong is your desire to make it happen?
Will you work 16-hour days, seven days a week, for six months to make it happen? Will you try again after your 50th failure? Your 100th? Are you going to keep going, as Thomas Edison did, to 1,000 and more? Will you spend your last dime, or your next to last dime, pursuing your dream?
How badly do you want to achieve your goal? Is your desire to achieve your goal so strong, do you want what you want so desperately, that you pursue it even if people around you tell you to give up, that it's not going to happen, that it can't happen, that you're wasting your time?
Do you wake up thinking about it, and go to sleep thinking about it, and dream about it while you are asleep? Will you learn what you need to know, find the people you need to know, and go to the places you need to be?
"You can have anything you want if you want it desperately enough. You must want it with an inner exuberance that erupts through the skin and joins with the energy that created the world." Sheila Graham.
Does this describe you? Does your desire burst through your skin and join with the energy that created the world? Because that's what it takes. That's what you need to do to achieve your biggest goals, to make the dreams of your heart come true.
Halfway and partway don't work. If you're not willing to give achieving your goal your all, all of the time, you may have to accept the fact that your dream will always be just that. But if your desire is burning a hole in you, if you're willing to work at it, to hang on to your dream no matter what, and to fight for it no matter how hard it is, even when it seems impossible, then you can be one of the successful ones. You can achieve your goal and make your dream come true.
