Desktop-3d Notes and Download Accelerator Plus Review

So today I've decided to make a part two to my original article Useful Programs to Download and show you some more handy programs that you may be interested in. The first program I want to tell you about today is an application called desktop-3D notes. As the name implies it's a program that let's users create notes and write a message on them then set an alarm to when they activate and display your message. For example let's say I want to watch a tv show at 11:00 pm, but every time I try to I forget because I'm doing something else online. So first (earlier in the day) I write a message to my self stating "My show is on right now" and then I set the alarm to 10:59 pm.

At 10:59 pm desktop-3D notes, plays an alarm sound (if you set it) and then displays a sticky note on top of any window you have opened. If you have a hard time remembering things then this program is without a doubt perfect for you. I enjoy this program so much because most of the time I forget about something important to either myself or others and this program makes it extremely easy to set up and quickly reminds me that I need to do something. This program allows it's users to customize the color of the note, the color of the font, and even change it's font size. Another great feature about this program is sending these notes through email. All you have to do is type in your message like normal, then click on a button that says send and desktop-3D will open a web page where you can type in your friends and families addresses.

When you set the alarm you can choose from a vast amount of time span to set your alarm (you can even send yourself a note years from now) which makes this program great for planning ahead. There are many uses for this program which includes: using it for a timer for cooking food, reminder to watch a show, or remembering that you have to go someplace, such as work. The best part about this application is that it's free and doesn't have any limitations on it. The possibilities of this application are endless and that is why I recommend you download this program so you can live an easier life. The best way to utilize this program is to set the color of the note and text (size and color) to a color that will grab your attention so that you will see the note immediately. Also be sure to turn on the alarm so you can hear it because in my opinion, the alarm is the part that catches your attention right away, so set that on as soon as you download this program. Download accelerator plus is a program that's allows it's users to download a file and then be able to pause the download so you can resume at your own convince. Download accelerator plus advertises that it speeds up your connection but I didn't notice any extra increase in speed but the ability to resume downloads is what makes it worth the download. Another cool addition to this program is the option to download later, which allows you to keep surfing the web while have the files that you wanted to download in you download accelerator "basket". This "basket" is composed of either unstarted files or uncompleted files which you can choose to download at your own time. This application is free to use but in order to use some of it's other features you will need to pay, but I don't see no reason to pay since you already have your ability to resume downloads.

Download accelerator plus also has a button where you can download all the files at once. You can have it download between one and twenty files at once so you don't have to keep going to your basket to download one file after another. Although all of these features are really easy to use and helpful there are a couple of problems with the program. The first one I encountered is when I was trying to download from places like megaupload and rapidshare. The problem is that most of the time these files would never start downloading and if they did they couldn't be resumed or they would disconnect from downloading. The second problem I have with download accelerator plus is that some times I'll right click to download a file and it's takes a little while before the download screen pops up. These problems are nothing that serious, but I thought you should be aware of them and as for recommending this program I do. There are are a lot of features and the resume feature is as good as it gets when it comes to downloading.
