The movie with the voice talents of comedians Steve Carell and Miranda Cosgrove is a fun adventure, and the antics of the minions is appealing to all ages. This link is to the official website for the Despicable Me movie. Here you can see clips from the movie, learn about the characters and play games. Play Work It! A game where you match minions, or you can play Break In where you navigate Gru's ship to get to Vector's lair. You can also play minion impossible a game where you navigate one of the minions as it collects points and weapons needed by Gru.

Activities

A fun online click and color website that will allow you color scenes from the movie and save them.

This website has tons of fun party games centered on the Despicable Me theme, but you don't have to be throwing a party to use them. Have a family fun night watching the movie and then come home and play a few of these games. Most of the games are easy to set up and don't take a ton of planning, which is perfect for a family fun night. The website suggests making invitations that look like minions, you could make your own minions as a craft.

This fun website called Speakaboos reads stories aloud to kids. Children age 3-6 especially enjoy it. They have a reading from "My Dad the Super Villain" the book Despicable Me is based on. It is even read by Miranda Cosgrove who is the voice of Margo in the movie.
