Florida became the 27th state on March 3rd, 1845 and is probably the most popular state for travelers. It is no wonder why it is so popular with great attractions like Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studio and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately, there are so many great attractions to see in Florida that I can not even list all of them. However, Florida will probably be your most expensive trip, so if you are planning on going make sure you get the most out of your visit!
1) Disney World. If you are going to go to Florida than you have to go to Disney World. Young or Old there is so many different things to do that you probably will not even finish them all.
Theme parks include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.
Water parks include Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.
Lets not forget all the wonderful Disney Character walking around to meet and greet visitors.
2) Universal Studios. Explore the movie world by jumping into the action at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Like Disney World, there is a lot to see and do at Universal Studios, so you should place for the day. Between the rides, dining, and shows you will be entertained.
Coming in 2012 you can experience Despicable Me in the new 3D attraction.
3) SeaWorld. Not only do you get to enjoy wonderful animals, but SeaWorld also has a number of different rides and a variety of entertaining shows.
One of those shows includes the famous whale, Shamu.
4) Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens is more than just amusement park. At Busch Gardens you can explore natures finest animals while seeking thrills on there numerous rides.
Aside from the safari exhibits and the roller coasters, visitors to the park can also enjoy a number of different shows.
5) Miami Zoo. The Miami Zoo has over 700 animals and is one of the top ten zoos in the United States. The zoo offers a number of different exhibits and attractions to keep the whole family entertained.
6) Gatorland. With 110 acres, Gatorland houses thousands of crocodiles and alligators. However, the park offers more than just reptiles for entertainment. Gatorland also has a breeding center, observation tower, petting zoo, nature walks, and reptilian shows.
The reptilian shows include the Gator Jumparoo, Gator Wrestling' show, and Up-close encounters.
Visitors can also take a ride on the express train, as well as, enjoy Gator Gully Splash Park.
7) Green Meadows Petting Farm. Located in Kissimmee, the Green Meadows Petting Farm believes that "learning can be fun". With over 300 animals, the farm is situated around relaxing oak trees.
Besides the animals, visitors can milk a cow or ride a pony. The farm also has train rides and hayrides.
8) Jungle Adventures. The largest alligator in the world awaits you at Jungle Adventures. Swampy, the parks famous alligator, is 200 feet long. Besides Swampy, the park also has other rare encounters, including the panthers.
While at the park, visitors can take a cruise in the swamp, surrounded by alligators being fed.
The park is not all about animals. Visitors can also witness the lives of the 16th century Spanish Conquistadors and Native Americans.

Florida is great, you forgot Sanibel Island and Captiva where you can see Dolphins daily just from the beach and find perfect shells ALL the time! LOVE it there :)
