Destination Guide: Travel to Aruba

Come Dance in Aruba!

Aruba, Bahama, come on pretty momma. One of the many great islands in the Caribbean, Aruba sets itself apart by one distinguishing feature - the weather. It seems like the weather in Aruba is always ideal. In reality, it is better than that. The weather on the tiny island of Aruba is as close to perfect as you will find anywhere and it stays that way seemingly year-round. Aruba has much of the flair and culture of the other Caribbean gems, but it is far enough away that you feel you've been some place special. Because of its location, the island misses almost every hurricane that routinely smashes into the other nations of the Caribbean. In Aruba, life is different and they would not have it any other way.

The main reason people travel to Aruba is because of the lavish shorelines. Aruba has some of the best beaches in the world. The picturesque scene is like nothing you will find this side of the movies. The sand is as white and inviting as sugar, while the water is a very unique green and blue combination. The best part about these great beaches is that there are so many of them and they all seem to last for days. With so much space, travelers to the island never seem to be crowded. The two must-see beaches are Eagle Beach and Palm Beach, where locals and tourists alike flock to take in the rays of the sun and enjoy the gentle surf that has come to characterize this nation.

In Aruba, there is a little bit of something for everyone. The scuba diving and snorkeling is great for those who are into that sort of thing. The island has some of the finest watersport capability in the world. If those are your thing, then Aruba is right for you.

The resorts in Aruba are lush and luxurious, but they can be very pricey. More experienced travelers generally opt for the island's smaller and cozier boutiques that offer much more of a cultural experience. The food on the island is as good as the hospitality. Unlike most Caribbean nations, the cuisine is diverse and tasty. You can eat just about anything and everything in Aruba, and it all seems to taste good.

When the sun sets on the island, the place turns into something like America's Las Vegas. Shows are everywhere and people are constantly ready to entertain you. It seems that in Aruba, fun is more than something they do. It is a way of life.

If you want to have the best time in the Caribbean and keep away from the cliché tourist spots like Nassau and St. Marten, come down to Aruba and enjoy yourself. The beaches, people, resorts, and food should be enough to keep you coming back for more. It does not hurt that the people are beautiful, as well.
