Stay Somewhere Small and Enjoy Yourself

William DuBose
While the Virgin Islands continue to grow in popularity among American travelers and others from all over the world, there remains a place where you can enjoy a small time vacation in a big time spot. While large, romantic resorts are nice for some things; many people are learning that going bigger is not always better .In the Virgin Islands, sometimes it might behoove one to stay at one of the smaller inns. The island has a number of these quaint little places to stay and each of them offers their own touch of Caribbean to make your vacation that much better. People will come to notice that most of these small inns are bed and breakfast style, meaning that you will be treated like a house guest for the entirety of your stay. Talk about a good time!

Villa Blanca of St. Thomas is a small and quaint inn that will give you everything you need for your vacation. Though it is a far enough distance from the beach that you will be forced to drive to get there, it makes up for all that by employing a home-like atmosphere that is sure to put you at ease. It sits on three acres of beautiful land and the views from there are breathtaking. Villa Blanca is easily one of the best places to stay in all of the Virgin Islands.

Garden by the Sea Bed and Breakfast is one of the island of St. John's little hidden gems. One of its best features is that it overlooks the ocean and these views can be had from just about every room. This small inn is not as popular with American tourists for whatever reason, but that should mean more space for you to operate and a less crowded area. Garden by the Sea Bed and Breakfast is affordable and it provides easy access to the North Shore Beach. Here, the rooms are elegantly furnished and you are sure to have a great time.

Carringtons Inn in St. Croix is becoming more and more popular among tourists, as well. The recipe for success here is simple. They provide you with nice rooms and they give you an excellent few days of service. This inn is converted from an old home and that gives it an even cozier feel. At the Carringtons Inn, some of the rooms even have king sized canopy beds that are sure to be a welcome sight for weary travelers.
