Destination Imagination Global Finals 2010 Results

Destination Imagination Global Finals 2010 was a huge success. Over 1,100 teams from all around America as well as the world, with teams like Singapore, Turkey, & South Korea cashing in big performances for their respective countries, combined to make the largest creative problem solving competition ever.

The newly-formed team from the University of North Texas cashed in a respectable performance in their first year of competition and only third month of existence with a third place finish in the Do or DI improvisational challenge. Having finally gotten a taste of worldwide competition, the freshmen college students plan to expand their program and return full force next year. This year's team consisted of five members, for two, Bryce Morgan and Alaina Thompson, were not able to make the trip due to scheduling conflicts, but Aaron Johnson, Bridgette Hammonds, Tyler Pines, as well as two of my fellow AC writers, Carl Whitaker and Tony Steadman, braved the thirteen hour drive to The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.
