Fun Factor:
In Destroy All Humans!, you play Cryptosporidium-137. Your nickname is Crypto. You are a member of the Furon alien race. The Furons are a violent race, waging nuclear war on the different planets they encounter. After hundreds of years of such nuclear warfare, the Furons mutated themselves. Their use of nuclear weaponry left their species impotent and without genitalia. Thusly mutated, the Furons were unable to reproduce. To maintain their population, the Furons resorted to cloning themselves. But, after years of cloning, the Furons once again encountered a problem. The Furon DNA was degrading. With the degradation of Furon DNA, each successive clone was less stable. Fortunately, thousands of years before this dilemma, the Furons had mated with Earthlings on their way home from destroying the Martians. With this breeding, the Furons had introduced Furon DNA into the human genome. Thus, each human has a tiny amount of Furon DNA in their genetic makeup. You, as Crypto, are sent to Earth in order to collect Furon DNA from human brains. Along the way, you are also to locate your brother, Cryptosporidium-136, who had undergone this mission before you but never returned. Lastly, you are to lead the destruction of Earth after you have collected the necessary Furon DNA.
As Crypto, you have a wide range of arsenal at your disposal. You start off with a "Zap-O-Matic." This weapon emits electricity at the enemy. As you progress, you will have an "Anal-Probe," a "Disintegrator Ray," and an "Ion Detonator." But you aren't limited to handheld weaponry. With the power of Furon technology at your side, you also have access to a wide range of saucer arsenal. Your flying saucer, the Furon's vehicle of travel, is initially equipped with a "Death Ray." As you progress, you will gain access to the "Abducto Beam," the "Sonic Boom," and the "Quantum Deconstructor." The Quantum Deconstructor is equivalent to a small nuclear bomb. When launched, this weapon will destroy everything in a given radius.
