Ingredients

Serves 4
12 hard boiled eggs
6 tbsp whipped cream cheese
2 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp tequila (optional)
3 tbsp chipotle peppers -from a can- minced
3 tbsp tomato sauce - thick homemade or from a jar
2 green chili peppers - minced
1/2 tsp lime juice
1/2 cup cheddar or colby cheese - finely shredded
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce

Directions for Deviled Eggs - Tex Mex Style

Mix Hard Boiled Egg Yolks, Cream Cheese, Mayonaise, Tequila, Peppers, Tomato Sauce, Chilis, Lime Juice, Hot Pepper Sauce and Cheese
Cut hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and set whites aside. In a medium bowl, mix egg yolks, mayonnaise, whipped cream cheese, tequila, tomato sauce, chili peppers, chipotle peppers, lime juice, hot sauce and cheese. Mixture should be thick. If it appears too thin, add some additional cream cheese or shredded cheese.

Fill Egg Whites With Mixture And Chill
Spoon mixture into egg whites. Chill and serve
