Devotional Momentum: The Wise

Dr. Phillip Clark
God is a vocabulary God. Throughout the Holy Bible a bible student will encounter words that require them to look up in a dictionary. God is the author of speech and communication. God said, "Let there be light." God is the creator of words. Enjoy speaking and hanging with those that can lead you to Heaven with God's word.

Psalms 2:10
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Proverbs 3:7
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Ecclesiastes 7:4
The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Romans 1:21-23
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Verse 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Verse 23 and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

I Corinthians 3:18-20
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. Verse 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. For it is written, HE TAKETH THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS. (Job 5:13) verse 20 And again, THE LORD KNOWETH THE THOUGHTS OF THE WISE, THAT THEY ARE VAIN.

II Timonthy 3:15
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Je'sus.
