Dew on the grass reminds me,
Of those moments when everything,
Washes over you,
And you are standing there,
Wondering now what?
Wondering what one can do,
Wondering where to go,
Wondering how did everything,
Get to this moment,
To this time,
To this space,
But there is still hope,
There is still strength,
You reach on in,
Reach on up,
Reach until you cannot reach anymore,
Look up toward the sky,
Take that moment,
Praise Him,
Worship Him,
Give your burdens to Him,
Dew on the grass reminds me,
Of the tears shed,
While walking away,
From wondering from the past,
Of the healing rain that falls,
Upon those that call upon strength,
Peace,
And presence from Him,
Dew on the grass reminds me,
Of grace,
Of the grace He gave to me,
To the grace He gave to those who believe,
To the hope He gives,
When we follow His path He has for us,
When we give heed to His counsel,
Dew on the grass reminds me,
Of the tears of love,
Of forgiveness,
Of peace,
Of happiness,
Of tranquility,
When we let go those things,
That seeks to destroy us,
And most of all,
Dew on the grass reminds me,
Of those people who are hurting,
That could use those kind words,
Those healing words,
Those things that mean so much,
To a person whose strength,
Is all about gone,
And needs that dew on the grass,
To remind them,
That they are not alone.
