You will also like the fact that the lens cover is very easy to remove. You simply twist it to lock or remove it without having to use any tools. This enables you to replace the bulb inside the unit with ease.
Hook
Another nice feature offered by the Dewalt DC527 area light is the built-in hook. This hook is useful for hanging the device from a variety of materials. Also, the hook is telescopic and capable of rotating a full 360 degrees.
Power
The Dewalt DC527 light offers cordless power for maximum convenience. It is designed to run off of an 18-volt battery which can power the light for approximately 3.5 hours. A battery doesn't come with the unit, so you will need to provide one separately.

The Dewalt DC527 helps prevent blackening at the base of the bulb thanks to its pre-heat circuit. The light also weighs just over one pound, so it's very easy to transport. It is backed by a three year limited warranty.
