Dexter, Season 4, Episode 2: Wrecked Bodies
Three sleepless months, due to new fatherhood, have caused Dexter to wreck. Police and paramedics arrive on the scene in time for Dexter to awaken with paranoia. Dexter is sure they will discover his newest kill, murderer Benny Gomez, in the vehicle. There is a tense moment where Dexter thinks they have found the body, but it is just his new son's prescription.

In what seems to be a reoccurring theme for Dexter, Season 4, Dexter is again denied sleep. The emergency room doctor gives Dexter orders to stay awake for 12 more hours. He thinks Dexter has a concussion and wants to admit him. But Dexter has body parts to conceal, so he sneaks out when wife Rita shows up.

Dexter, Season 4, Episode 2: Lundy Complications
Former FBI agent Lundy is still in town and causing a stir in the lives of the Morgan siblings. Lundy is applying his special brand of subtle pressure to get Dexter's help with the Trinity Killer. Dexter manages to put him off, as he is still searching for last night's victim.

Deb is more susceptible to her ex-lover's charms. She has discovered the same information that has led Lundy to believe that the Trinity Killer exists. Lundy plays into her ego and manages to sit in on a suspect interview. He proposes that they get together over dinner, to discuss the case. Deb shows up at his door, wanting to let him know that she is happy with Antoine, and Lundy will just have to accept that. Her ego is deflated, when Lundy reveals that his real reason for being in Miami is his belief that the Trinity Killer was there. It is obvious that tension between the two, as well as Lundy's demanding meddling, will be a big part of Dexter, Season 4.

Dexter, Season 4, Episode 2: Precinct Drama
Lieutenants Angel Batista and Maria Laguerta continue to be lovers, but working together is becoming difficult. Angel is overprotective of what fellow officers say about Maria and her decisions. Both are constantly pandering to the other, to ensure feeling are not hurt. For a brief moment, they consider breaking the relationship off, but seem to change their minds.

Detective Quinn has leaked investigation info, in a successful attempt to score a date from a reporter. Dexter sees him steal money from a crime scene safe. Quinn is nervous, especially after reaming Dexter for messing up a trial. He attempts to buddy up to Dexter. Dexter cannot be bothered, as he is still trying to remember where he hid his last body. Lieutenant Laguerta calls Quinn in her office and he is sure he is busted. Much to his relief, she just tells him to watch what he says, while in bed with his reporter.

Dexter, Season 4, Episode 2: Searching Serial Killers
Dexter made it to his wrecked car, on the impound lot, only to find that his kill tools were the only thing there. He frantically spends his day trying to remember where he left the body. Dexter searches the crash site, kill room and dumpsters. He is shocked to find a drop of blood at the scene of the murder.

Dexter is frustrated, as his job and family duties keep him from the hunt. He is kept company by the ghost/hallucination of his adopted father, Harry. A revisit to the kill room turns up another drop of blood, after he had cleaned the previous one up. This inspires Dexter to look up, as he remembers he hid Benny's body in a punching bag.

While Dexter his hunting his last victim, the Trinity Killer is stalking a new one. We are taken through his selection process and watch as he initiates contact with his chosen victim. The next episode in Dexter, season 4, will involve more interaction between the Trinity Killer and the rest of the cast.

Great summary... this season is going to get interesting, Lithgow is creepy as the Trinity Killer. I guess I'm the only one that read this that actually watches? Ha.
