The Babies R Us diapers called Especially For Baby worked fine, but after my daughter started drinking more and more they would leak almost 3 or 4 times a week. That would mean changing outfit after outfit and washing seat cover after seat cover more than we wanted. The diaper tab actually was hidden on a few and they had to be thrown out before they were used. Some of the tabs fell off when I tried to secure them also. The customer service department from Especially For Baby was excellent. They offered to replace the unused diapers at no charge. We still chose to use another brand.
The next brand tried out was Pampers. We only tried one case of these because the price was higher and they leaked about once or twice a week which was an improvement, but not the right one we wanted.
Someone bought us a pack of Huggies. I can't remember who it was, but we appreciated it since formula was getting expensive. The Huggies worked pretty good and had cool colorful shapes on them. We only used one large pack of about 50 or 60 of them. They only leaked once, but just a little bit. We liked these, but wanted something durable and less expensive.
Finally, we tried the diapers at BJ's Wholesale Club. These diapers were great. They are good quality and affordable. Also, if you have a BJ's member credit card you get rewards dollars every time you make a purchase. Not to mention, there are additional coupons for diapers at BJ's in their advertisements. Over about a year and 2,080 diapers later, they still beat the competition.
After trying Especially For Baby, Pampers, Huggies and BJ"s diapers we chose the BJ's Wholesale diapers and have been sticking with them for the last year. Of course, everyone has their own opinion and situation, but we highly recommend giving them try.
