Did Harold Camping Predict the End for Osama Bin Laden and Moammar Gadhafi?

Karen Barnes
Harold Camping predicted the rapture, end of days, the end of the world, coming of Christ twice in 2011. His first predicted the first end of the world on May 21, 2011. The second time Camping has made this prediction was for October 21, 2011.

Is it coincidental on or near these dates Osama bin Laden and Moammar Gadhafi were killed either by Navy Seals and by Libyan rebels? Did Harold Camping inadvertently predict their end of reign of terror here on Earth?

Even those two questions could make me sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I'm not. I did find it odd that his predictions did fall so close to their time of death.

The end of Osama bin Laden and the first rapture prediction.

Camping's first prediction came in for May 21, 2011. This is the same day bin Laden was killed by Navy Seals on May 1, 2011. Camping had the right month and year just the wrong day. Camping was 20 days off when it came to the end of Osama.

However, the rest of the world didn't see any signs of the coming of the rapture. Unless you want to consider all those who quit their jobs, committed suicide, or gave away all their money to him.

Then theirs the 64 Naval sailors who have been discharged over drug use. These sailors were onboard the ship, USS San Francisco, that buried Osama bin Laden at sea. They were found either selling or using the Spice, methamphetamines or cocaine. Unfortunately, these soldiers careers have ended too.. This story was in the headlines on October 21, 2011. Does the date seem too coincidental to you or just another oddity since the story was updated at 11:03 AM in the U.K. which put the rapture hours ahead of the Western Hemisphere?

The end of Moammar Gadhafi and the second Harold Camping rapture prediction.

Less than 24-hours before Camping's next prediction, October 21, 2011, Moammar Gadhafi was killed by Libyan rebels. This time Camping was off by one day when this evil ruler met his fate. While Gadhafi had committed crimes against humanity much like bin Laden, his tirade had ran for over four decades in Libya.

Could numerologists have a field day with Camping's predictions and with bin Laden and Gadhafi's deaths?

If you believe in numerology, many people do by the way, numerologists could have a field day with the dates of Camping's predictions and both ruler's deaths. For example, May 21, 2011, Campings first prediction for the rapture. Osama bin Laden's death May 2, 2011. There are 20 days difference between the two events. Do you see the pattern here?

October 21, 2011, being Camping's second timeline and Gadhafi's death was on October 20, 2011. In this case a one day difference in the rapture, Gadhafi's in this case, but the timing was the twentieth day of the month. In this case, the dates and days between the supposed raptures were switched.

Then there is the six months difference between the two rapture predictions and the deaths of both rulers. Again, this seems like a conspiracy theory, right? Possibly, but the numbers in this case don't lie.

    Interesting to play around with.

Interesting...could cause a few different theories. In my mind, since God probably doesn't run things based on our calender, predicting exact dates of something you've been told is going to happen is probably a little difficult. That could mean that Camping is pretty darn good, lol. Since his predictions of chaos appear to be misinterpreted by him as end of world chaos rather than the smaller events that they are perhaps he's just too anxious to call the end of the world to see what his premonitions really are.
