Did Mariah Carey Break Mark Sudack's Heart?

Mariah Carey has been known for her outstanding music and her failed relationships. One of her most recent failed relationships was to music producer Mark Sudack. Sudack and Carey had dated for nearly four years before their relationship came to a halt in the early months of 2008. Shortly after her relationship with Sudack ended, Carey married Nick Cannon. It has been reported that Sudack is shattered by the news of former lover Mariah Carey's marriage as reported by MSNBC.

I may not be the singer that Carey is but my relationships seem to mock hers. Before I met my now husband, I was in a relationship with my two oldest children's dad for nearly four years off and on. I didn't plan on splitting from him but bad got to worse and I needed out.

I met my husband about three months after my former lover and I had split. I never intended to fall in love but love has no boundaries and often gets you when you least expect it.

I started dating again and found love in someone who cherished me for everything that I am. About a year later, I married my husband and have never looked back.

I don't feel that marriage should be jumped or played around with. If someone loves you then they should wait until you are ready to make that commitment.

Carey might have jumped the gun on her marriage but unlike her, I dated my husband for a while before marrying him. My former lover felt a bit like Sudack did and felt that I crushed him and was making a mistake. Even though you may not love your ex, you will probably always care about them in some way especially if you have children together.

As time went on and my former lover started dating again, I became just another one of his old flames. His love for me faded and was given to someone else.

Life isn't perfect and neither is love. Some people choose to run into another relationship because they feel that they can replace this person but this should never be something that you do.

Carey hasn't been an angel when it comes to romance but neither has her Sudack. I can also say this for me as I have had a few bad run ins with relationships but seem to be doing pretty well right now in the love department.

Taking the time to get to know my husband was one of the best things that I could have done for the both of us. I don't rush into marriages like Carey seems to but I do have a habit of rushing into dating. I have learned from my experience that it is always better to wait on marriages.

Sudack's heart might have been crushed but just like my ex, he will eventually find love once again. Things like this is something that we can all do over time and hopefully our heart will lead us onto someone who will love us just the same.
