Did Taylor Swift Hook Up with John Mayer?
HollywoodLife.com reported the romance first, but now In Touch Weekly is quoting a friend of John Mayer's with details of the pair's rendezvous.
"She was sitting on John's lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear," says the source. "They were acting like teenagers."
In Touch claims that Mayer, who is 32, and Swift, who is 20, stayed the night in Mayer's suite at The Hermitage Hotel.
"Taylor spent the night and enjoyed mid-morning room service before leaving his suite the next day," the source says. When asked by a friend how his night with Taylor went In Touch reported that John laughed, and boasted, "How do you think it went?"
Reps for both John Mayer and Taylor Swift have been denying that the two have a romantic relationship. I had hoped that was true but now believe it is looking unlikely.
John Mayor is a terrific musician but it is almost as well known for his club lifestyle (which he promised early in his career not to pursue) and his love affairs with famous celebrity women, a list that has included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Aniston. These actions have led him to be branded one of music and Hollywood's top womanizers.
John Mayer has had to apologize several times over the years for his statements revealing intimate details about his relationships with these women. He has even claimed he is done giving interviews due his tendency to make these statements.
Personally I don't care who John Mayer...um...does...but I wish Taylor Swift would stay far away from him. Swift is a strong songwriter, especially for her age, and obviously a bit fragile emotionally.
John Mayer seems to pick his women based on their current level of fame and hasn't seemed to mind the extra attention this brings. In fact he has seemed to embrace it, thriving as much in the breakup period as the early romance.
Quite a few talented female celebrities have had trouble handling the fame at a young age and have been pursued by celebrity men who used them to further their career while later spilling details about the relationships in public. Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are just two that come to mind.
Of course, Taylor Swift should be free to date or hook up with anyone she wants. But it is my hope that someone at least fills her in on the past and advises Taylor Swift to be careful with John Mayer.

Post a CommentTaylor does write all her songs you dumbass. For a few songs she had co-writers, but they didn't write the main material, just there to tighten things up or whatever. Her new album Speak Now was written entirely and solely by Taylor Swift. She was always touring on the road when she wrote songs so she didn't have time to work with co-writers and all that. Why do you think she won so many songwriting awards? Cause she writes the damn songs.

Ah, you have one bit of misinformation here. Taylor Swift doesn't even write her own songs, and even if she did, they are hardly anything to be proud of. She is a shame to all female musicians. She is a pretty girl holding a guitar and playing the same three chords over and over and over. Sex with John Mayer is the closest thing Taylor Swift has ever come to real musicianship.
I don't keep up with this stuff that much, but I hope Taylor Swift does wise up to John Mayer.
