Did Uri Geller Win the $1,000,000.00 Criss Angel Promised on National TV?

The challenge came on the finale of the national Televised show "Phenomenon," on November 15. Criss Angel, mystifier and cohost of the show, dared mentalist Uri Geller to tell him what was in a sealed envelope, according to well know paranormalist and psychic investigator Dick Brooks, after an interview with Geller. The climactic moment was interrupted by Criss after Geller began throwing some dates that were pretty darn close to the actual sequence of numbers contained in the closed packet - the numbers 911.

Uri gave the date of 19th as Criss's birth date; then continued saying he had bent his 1st spoon when Angel was 1 (years old). But apparently Criss got a little bit tense, knowing how close Uri was getting into the real content, so he cut him off and opened the envelop before Mr. Geller could make a perfect guess.

"I don't know what happened. When Criss Angel challenged me, I suddenly started blurting out dates. It was not rehearsed. Why dates? I have not idea why I did it till now. That's how these things happen to me. The dates or numbers I started to blurt out were 1, 19 which reversed is 911. I also said the numbers 20 and 1, which is close to 2001. What are the odds of that?" says Geller.

"I was born on the 20th" and "A lot of years between us, 40 years" and "I wish you a long, successful 40 years," continues Geller. Brooks explains that "20 plus 40, plus 40 is 100 or the extra decimal needed to produce to 2001. What makes it even stranger is that Geller made a mistake as they are actually separated by 21 years but that would not have added up to 100."

"Maybe if he would not have jumped in and cut me short, I would have zeroed in not only on 911, but the whole year 2001. If I was being tested in a laboratory these all would clearly be considered hits," says Geller.

All the same, Geller could lay claim to the money, since he actually zeroed in on the actual numbers, according to Brooks. Dick Brooks, who is following the development of the story, is the director of the Houdini Museum, dedicated to the renowned magician in Scranton, PA.

The national challenge was caught but many and clips from "Phenomenon" are appearing on YouTube.com, showing Uri Geller guessing the numbers in the package. Do you think Geller won the $1,000,000.00?

I wouldn't trust anything Uri said about after the show and trying to guess what was on the card, but even if Chris did cut him off, I'd say it was probably for a good reason. Knowing Uri, 20+1+17+4-6 etc he would have eventually picked the numbers that could be on the card by listing every number combination possible till he had enough that no matter what was on it, he could BS how he said the number somewhere in his rant. After one correct number and 30-40 wrong numbers that could be equated into whatever needed, Uri would probably sue Chris for the million. I was within 10 number of each powerball number, and if I added and subtracted them correctly I could come up with the same total, should I have gotten the jackpot?

if he wasnt a fraud he would have said 911 he is a fraud and so is that jim dude too also uri was exposed as a fraud on the tonight show and some other show in 2007

Stupid. 19 is nineteen It isnt one nine. its Ten and nine. If Geller had said nine then later one then later still one. He would have a claim.

Then to proceed and pick this and that and add this and good lord, slight of hand? Give it up.
