Diet Rite Pure Zero Pop: A Review

Chen Salis
Yesterday while I was out and about I saw a pop machine featuring twenty five cent cans of pop. After a long hike I was feeling quite thirsty and had already drained my bottle of water, so I pulled over and dug a quarter out of my purse. As I stood there staring at my options, I saw Diet Rite pure zero red raspberry as a possibility. I had not tried it, I like diet pop and I like raspberry flavors so I decided to go with that. Wow, this is a great beverage!

Of course diet rite pure zero lives up to its name, no calories, no caffeine, no sodium, no carbs. It is one of the few diet soda pops I have tried that has a great non pop taste. I would compare the flavor to that of crystal lite raspberry ice. It is refreshing and tastes really great!

I have tried a lot of different pops and mostly I go with diet cola as long as it is not diet Pepsi In my opinion diet Pepsi is too sweet even though it doesn't contain any sugar. I am really impressed with diet rite red raspberry pure zero! I am glad I took a chance and tried this one, but I will admit the zero caffeine almost automatically rules this flavor out for me. I drink pop for the caffeine usually. Its a good thing I couldn't read the can or I might have passed this killer beverage up for something else.

I liked this diet pop so much I broke a dollar at the little store and bought 4 more cans. Where can you find 4 cans of non generic pop for a dollar normally? A deal like that for such fantastic flavor can not be passed up!

This diet pop- Diet Rite Pure Zero red raspberry is crisp, clear, fruity and probably one of the best pops out there as an alternative to plain old water. I love that it has no sodium, which is unusual for pop. It does contain splenda, so it tastes sweet without any artificial flavor as many other diet drinks have. Also there is no unpleasant after taste, which is an added bonus!

Diet Rite pure zero is available in most grocery stores, there are a few other flavors also if raspberry isn't your ideal flavor for pop, however it is different and don't we all need a little variety in our diets now and then?
