In life, every one of us have different roles to fulfill at different times. To play the role of a good child to your parents, the role of a good student to your teachers, role of a good companion to your significant half, a role of a spouse, role of a parent . . . and the list just goes on and on for as long as you live.
One cannot deny the fact that each and every individual one of us are inter-connected in such a way, inter-dependent in some degrees. So how does one strut through the journey of life?
Lem'me go back to that saying, or at least just the first part of it. Knowing exactly what role you should be playing at that moment, not mixing it up with another role. Now you may naturally be a good worker abiding by the social conformities, mixing that up with role when you're out with your significant half may just not turn out right. Well, usually it doesn't.
That's a challenge in life that we all face every single day as the backdrop and crowd changes. Oh, but do remember your role to yourself, always be true to yourself. For life is not meant to be a journey that you look back and go "What if..."
