If you are a little confused when looking at televisions, this is understandable.There are so many available models, and types these days. When looking at all the features you may run across a plasma screen. Then a television that simply says HD. So what is the difference between these?

The answer is really very simple, a plasma screen either can or can't have HD depending on the model. Today, all plasma screens currently sold carry HD capabilities. A better question then is how much HD or rather what quality of HD. This is a good question to ask when your shopping for that new big-screen for your living room. This gives you the sharpest picture possible from your HD TV.

The answer, simply put, is plasma is HD, and HD is not plasma. However, there are rear projection model TVs which are quite capable of HD. There are also LCD Televisions which are also capable of HD and in all the resolution ranges specified. While all new model televisions are capable of HD. They are not all equal by any means and the ultimate decision on which model to buy is up to you.
