Digital Angel - Is Technology Going Too Far?

Shan-Lyn Forsythe
With the rise of terrorism sweeping the world, micro-chip implants have emerged.

Growing controversial issues about humans being "micro-chipped" for security reasons have given way to serious fears and concerns. Whether people want it or not, it's already here, and the reality is rapidly accelerating.

Americans are already tolerating the FOIA (Acronym: Freedom of Information Act), where privacy is being wittled away each day by hungry "information stalkers" who thrive on seeking to exploit and to know every iota of information they can find about any individual they want. They do this simply for the "power pleasure" of securing people around their little fingers, either to spam and monopolize on people's lives ranging anywhere from incessant telemarketing to unpleasant visitations at someone's private residential front AND back door.

As if this isn't enough, technology has now added to the weight of privacy invasion by introducing "data micro-chip implants", where virtually every known information about a country's citizen will be encrypted into one very small implantable chip that can easily be inserted underneath the skin of a person where it will seamlessly merge and blend with the individual's metabolism.

"Is nothing sacred anymore?", will ironically become a trodden phrase and disappear in time if home-land security has its way.

Naturally, national security very well understands the psychological implications if they rush in too fast. Therefore, it's much easier to condition individuals to "want" to be micro-chipped. How does the saying go? It's easier to catch a fly with honey?

And so, the process has begun.

Realistically, we do need an organizational infra-structure in order to keep things....well...organized. Tagging store items is acceptable. Tagging people, however, is another issue altogether different. There's a threshold limit to every reality, and humans being micro-chipped has far surpassed its ethical boundaries.

Thus, enters the latest technology that specializes on realites which have brought about much controversy.

Digital Angel - Microchip Implants

Created by the Florida-based NASDAQ-traded company, the patent rights to the miniature digital transceiver named "Digital Angel", was acquired by Applied Digital Solutions, Inc., an e-business-to-business solutions provider.

When Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. launched their new technology on June 15th, 2001 to begin beta testing on humans their implant device, it didn't take long before a whirlwind of complaints started pouring in from concerned citizens. The device was even being compared to "the mark of the beast".

"Digital Angel" is designed to send and receive data which can be tracked continuously by global positioning satellite (GPS) technology. When introduced within the human metabolism, this device is powered electro-mechanically by the movement of muscles which can be activated either by the implanted individual or by a monitoring facility.

Since Digital Angel Corp. received chip clearance for usage on humans, throughout time it has ventured its technology progressively.

It doesn't say it wont be recognized, it says it will be thought of as a great thing and everyone will want it just like they where talking about wanting to get everyone to want to be implanted. It's funny how if you BS a small part of the bible even a keyword it can make many things ok

That space between the pituitary gland and the optic nerve is a perfect place to plant a chip.

  • Mynocks in a Sarlaac 9/3/2008

In Revalation, it states that you will not be able to buy, sell, or trade with it. these chips are only to keep track of you. Think daily retinal scans in Minority Report. Secondly, the two places(The Mark) will be placed (right wrist or forehead) are impractical for a chip designed to radio your position to be placed. It wouldn't fit. Thirdly, the Bible says that that The Beast will not be recognized by anyone, so if you think it is; it isn't.

Implanting these chips is most DEFINITLY the mark of the Beast, and anyone who accepts is is a FOOL. DO NOT get this chip, you WILL regret it!

iT DO SPEAK OF THIS IN RELVELATION AND IT IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST ,THE BIBLE EXPLAINS IT AS THE 666 MARK... John, no I haven't. Please shed some light. Thank you. ;-)

This is the reality today. Have you heard the latest about the airports?

  • Shan-Lyn Forsythe 5/7/2007

Michy, it is terrifying stuff! When you think about it, most movies sprout out of real-life experiences. The article was not meant to scare people, but to awaken the remaining populace to the understanding that this is a very real problem, and it's not the figment of a fertile imagination. You should see the research piled on my desk with this. I have this maxim, "The ugliest truth, is far better than the most beautiful lie". ;-)
