3 Reasons to Purchase the L20

Robert Cooper
With such a variety of Digital Cameras flooding the market the consumer has a difficult choice in deciding which digital camera is right for them. Nikon understands what consumers are up against and has come up with its line of Cool Pix to help provide simplification in this choice.

By reading the rest of this article you will find not only the Nikon Digital Camera Review of the Cool Pix L20 but the Three Compelling reasons to make the L20 your next digital camera purchase.

For a camera under $150. the Nikon Cool Pix L20 provides great image quality. Images were surprisingly sharp for a non-mechanical image stabilization system.

The L20 provides a 16 scene mode ability and an Easy Auto mode that automatically selects the ideal mode based on the shooting environment with a blink warning feature that scans photos immediately after you take them and alerts you if someone in your picture blinked so you can capture another shot right away.

Panorama assist mode is another great feature in this excellent point-n-shoot which guides you in shooting panoramic images. It does this by keeping the ghosted edge of the last snap shot visible while you take the next shot. No guess work needed as to what actually will show up in the shot.

The Cool Pix L20 has a huge 3-inch LCD screen making picking & reviewing your shots a fun and easy experience.

Probably the most unique feature is the capacity to zoom while in movie mode. The Nikon Cool Pix L20 captures 640 by 480 AVI clips at 30 frames per second.

While not finding any real negatives (this writer prefers lithium ion power) the L20 takes AA batteries. The Cool Pix L20 battery capacity is about 230 shots. This one drawback is minor compared to the great compact digital camera Nikon has come up with in the Cool Pix line.

For the young in age and young in heart the Nikon Cool Pix L20comes in snappy colors, one sure to meet your personality.
All told, the Coolpix L20 is easy to use, very affordable, and in terms of value, one of the best bargain point-and-shoot digital cameras on the market today.
