After all her name was Dill.

Why granny always called her Pickle.
She supposed that it could be,
Because she preferred the lime popsicles.

Grannies are sweet and my granny used to play this kinda name game a lot. 'Dil", here means heart and what a lovely name she gave. Pickle is sweeter.
