Dina Lohan on Lindsay Lohan continues to hit the media, as reported at OMG! The 24-year-old troubled actress is at the Betty Ford Center until January while her mom, Dina Lohan, does all the talking.

Dina Lohan says Lindsay Lohan didn't want to play a drug addict

According to Dina Lohan, it wasn't that Lindsay Lohan was dropped from the Linda Lovelace biopic, "Inferno," it's that Lindsay didn't want to play a drug addict. Says Dina Lohan, "The movie is about a drug addict and a porn star... it is hard when you are a serious actor with what she has been through, we don't need that."

Many would agree that Lohan is a serious actor, albeit one who has ruined her career. The Linda Lovelace biopic, some would argue, is a serious movie that Lindsay could have benefited from. If anything, she could have drawn on her own experience as a drug addict for the film.

According to Matthew Wilder, the director of "Inferno," "Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her-and some other issues-have made it impossible for us to go forward."

But Dina Lohan claims Lindsay Lohan has plenty of offers she is considering once she gets out of rehab, implying that the uninsurable issue is not an issue. Of course, this is the same woman who claimed that Lindsay did not have a substance abuse problem. Most would consider Dina Lohan not only a stage mom, but also an enabler.

Should Lindsay have turned down the "Dancing with the Stars" offer?

As reported at OMG!, Dina Lohan says Lindsay Lohan was offered "Dancing with the Stars," but turned it down. "Dancing with the Stars" works with many people who would be considered has-beens. Jennifer Grey, for example, who won season 11, was a person nobody had talked about after her "Dirty Dancing" days. Is Lindsay a has-been? Perhaps not quite. But if she can't stay sober, nobody will want to work with her, not even a "Dancing with the Stars."

The chances of Lindsay winning "Dancing with the Stars" may not have been good, either, even if she's a good dancer. DWTS has proven to be a popularity contest more than a dancing contest. Lohan is not popular right now and probably wouldn't be on the show. She would lose "Dancing with the Stars" and the entire experience would do nothing for her career. If she were a poor dancer, in addition to being an unpopular one, that would make her even more of a joke.
