Dina Lohan Threatens to Have Michael Lohan Arrested If He Shows Up at Lindsay Lohan Hearing Today

Actress Lindsay Lohan appearing before a Judge in a Beverly Hills court room today to answer to charges she failed her recent court-ordered drug tests might not be the only drama the Lohan family experiences today. TMZ is reporting Michael Lohan may be arrested if he shows up at the court house to show support for his daughter.

The appearance in court will be the first for the actress since admitting on Twitter last week that she failed the court-ordered drug tests. If Judge Eldon Fox decides Lindsay Lohan has violated her parole with the drug tests she could be facing 30 days in jail immediately.

The threat of being arrested stems from a restraining order Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan has out against her ex-husband that requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times. Michael Lohan addressed the nature of the restraining order in an interview with TMZ where he said, "I'll definitely be there for Lindsay. As for Dina's restraining order against me, it has been in place for six years. We've been in the same courtroom before. If she wants to play that game, she can go ahead."

Michael Lohan plans to show up at the Beverly Hills court house with youth pastor Jay Koopman in an effort to speak to his daughter about his beliefs in Jesus Christ, the Bible and God and hopes his daughter will be inspired to follow the path Michael is currently taking with his life.

This admission earlier this week is apparently what prompted Dina Lohan to threaten Michael with arrest if he showed up. Dina reportedly wants to control the situation her daughter is currently in with her team of rehab Doctor's and doesn't want her ex turning the hearing into a spectacle.

Even if Dina Lohan doesn't press the restraining order against Michael, he may never get near Lindsay since she has repeatedly given him the cold shoulder when Michael has publicly made his intentions known that he wants to reconcile with his estranged daughter.

After the breakup of his relationship with Hailey Glassman Michael Lohan relocated from Long Island to Los Angeles to try and get closer to his daughter and his three other children with his ex-wife. The move also follows Lindsay's refusal to go to a rehab facility in New York City, which Michael requested so he could visit her.

Addressing Dina Lohan and her idea that she knows how to handle her daughters drug and alcohol problems Michael Lohan said, "That's Dina's mindset. She thinks that she's Teflon and nothing can hurt her." Dina was on the Today Show in August and defend her daughter to the American viewing audience and host Matt Lauer by denying her daughter had a substance abuse problem. The episode prompted many experts to accuse Dina of being engrossed in her Hollywood lifestyle and out of touch with her daughter and the reality of the situation.

That's a lot of Lohans! It's unfortunate when a family's difficulties are so public. Hopefully Lindsay gets the help that she needs to turn her life around and her parents will be able to take a step back from the media and help their family to heal.
