Dina Manzo is the sister of Caroline Manzo and friend to Teresa Guidice all of "Housewives of New Jersey" fame. Dina Manzo only stayed on the reality show for two seasons and then got out with her dignity intact.
Lately rumors and innuendo have been exploding ever since the Housewives of New Jersey reunion show that featured a screaming beat down between Carolyn Manzo and Teresa Guidice. Teresa alluded to the damaged relationship Caroline has with her sister Dina which set off a media firestorm.
Dina Manzo finally addressed all of the rumors and speculation on her blog Oct 24, 2011 which promptly crashed her website. Fortunately it is back up and running for now so you can read her entry.
I have to agree with Dina's assessment of how the Real Housewives of New Jersey portrays women. She was very smart to get out when she did and to distance herself from anything to do with the reality show. Its a shame that the distance included her family members, but hopefully her sister Caroline will wake up and follow in Dina's footsteps.
I always liked Dina and admired her for being smart enough to use the reality show to her advantage and then get the hell out. Because of her two seasons on Real Housewives of New Jersey, she got her charity "Project Ladybug" off the ground and nationally known.
She also has her own show on HGTV called "Dina's Party." Much classier than being on the Real Housewives of New Jersey! Way to go Dina.
