Los Angeles does have a strict rule that dogs are not allowed inside restaurants. Thus, even the most well-behaved dog has to sit outside. But with the perfect weather and plenty of sights for dogs and people to enjoy, Los Angeles is a doggedly fun place to eat.
Two cocker spaniel dogs, Pepper and Dudley, as well as their human mommy, bubby, and sissy, have enjoyed the cuisine and service at these restaurants, and everyone gives them two enthusiastic paws up.

This world-famous seafood shack offers plenty of motorcycles, people, and smells of great food for everyone to enjoy. Reasonably priced for California seafood, the dishes sure do please dogs and people alike. Try the steamed shrimp, fish and chips, and fried crab cakes. Dogs and people can sit together in a large picnic area that has convenient poles for dog leashes.

Open 24 hours a day and in the middle of the glamorous Sunset Strip, Mel's offers a unique combination of West Hollywood people watching and delightful diner food. The large outdoor seating area has plenty of room for dogs and people, and the wait staff is more than happy to bring your pooch some water when needed.
Especially good dishes include turkey and gravy, chicken noodle soup, and grilled chicken sandwiches. For a cool treat, try the smoothies and milkshakes, and your dog is sure to love a lick of one of these dreamy desserts!
