Dinner Ideas for Your Boyfriend

So you find yourself trying to plan dinner tonight and you're having a hard time figuring out what to make. Sometimes, it gets rather difficult and even frustrating searching the web for recipes. So that is why I have comprised a list of three great meals that you and your boyfriend will love. Whether you are in the mood for chicken, pork or steak, these recipes should steer you in the right direction.

Chinese Chicken

1 lb Chicken Breasts (Boneless)
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 lb Frozen Stir Fry Veggies
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
2 tbsp Sherry
Cooked White Rice
Black Pepper

• Slice chicken into ½ inch slices

• Combine chicken with sherry, soy sauce and pepper to taste

• Heat 1 tbsp of the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté vegetables and minced garlic until cooked, about 5 minutes

• Remove vegetables and garlic and transfer the sliced chicken into the skillet. Cook until no longer pink on the inside

• Cover chicken with hoisin sauce and then add the cooked vegetables.

• Serve with rice

Peaches n' Pork

1 lb Pork Tenderloin
1 Can sliced peaches
1 cup diced green bell peppers
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
½ cup Bbq Sauce

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees

• Drain peaches, and save the syrup

• Over medium heat, combine peaches, barbeque sauce, syrup, mustard, and bell pepper in a saucepan and bring to a boil

• Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes

• Put slices of pork in a baking dish and pour sauce over the meat

• Bake for about 30 minutes

* Optional: Serve with green beans and peas

Steak Creole

2 lbs Sirloin steak
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 tbsp Minced garlic
1 tbsp Flour
¾ Ketchup
1 cup Diced onion
1 tbsp Paprika
1 cup Diced green bell pepper
¾ Water
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Mustard

• Rub steak with paprika

• Heat oil over medium -high heat in a skillet. Cook steak until desired doneness. After cooked, transfer to oven heated to 250 degrees.

• Add onion and cook, and then add green bell pepper and garlic cooking for about one minute.

• Add flour and cook for one minute

• Next, add water, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce stirring until mixture thickens.

• Stir in mustard and season with salt and pepper.

• Pour over steaks.

*Optional: Dish can be served over mashed potatoes.

*Optional: Add fresh buttered broccoli to compliment the steak.
