The Dirt Devil 082500 Breeze is quite a small vacuum (easy to store) and it is light too (15 pounds). Thanks to its light weight it is so easy to maneuver this vacuum around the corners and under the tables. You won't need to break a sweat when you're vacuuming your whole house using this little devil. You can even strap it on when you're doing the cleaning. The vacuum already comes with a strap so you don't need to buy one.
Let's talk about the suction power. This vacuum has good suction but you should note that it is best used on hard surface floors (wood, tiles, etc). On these surfaces it can really suck it pet hairs, dirt, etc. However when used on carpets it is certainly not the best. It can still catch lots of dirt, dust and hairs but its 12-amps motor doesn't seem to able to suck all the dirt.
Now, about the dirt canister. The canister on the Dirt Devil 082500 Breeze is pretty large for a vacuum this size. For a not-so-dirty house you only need to empty it after you finish cleaning. Of course if your house is very dirty you should empty the dirt canister after finishing one room.
Another good thing about this vacuum is the power cord. This vacuum is equipped with 20-foot long power cord which means you can save yourself from keep plugging and unplugging when you're cleaning from one corner to the other or from one room to the next. Unfortunately this long cord is not retractable.
Conclusion
If you need a good vacuum to clean your hard-surfaced floors from pet hair and dust but cost less than $100 the Dirt Devil 082500 Breeze Bagless should be in your "must buy" list. It's cheap, light and does the job well. However if you need something that can pull heavy dirt from your thick carpets the Dirt Devil 082500 is not the perfect choice.
