Dirty Details of Sex and the City 2 Movie

Sex and the City is probably one of the most highly anticipated productions in the world. During the shoot of the first movie, hundreds of barriers and body guards had to be used during filming because the paparazzi and fans would just swarm the set. In fact, in some of the scenes you can see the fans in the background being blocked off by the barriers. Sex and the city 2 is no different, except this time they are shooting in secretive locations, such as Morocco.

Sex and the city 2 is going to be released in 2010, and though there is not yet an official plot line, the actors give out little clues during interviews.

During an interview with Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte in the series and films, she claims that the first movie was long and catching up from the series finale. The difference with the new movie is that it's going to be shorter and so it will be, "more meaty" and "different, and adventure and rich, and like, there's music involved." Music involved was one of the most curious statements, and let's just hope that this movie doesn't become a musical.
She also claimed that there were over 81 costume changes in the first one for Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the main character Carrie Bradshaw, though in this one there are far fewer.

Famous celebrities will also make a cameo in the movie including Liza Minnelli, Penelope Cruz, and even Miley Cyrus. And what about the most talked about male from the first movie, Gilles Marini? During a recent interview, Gilles said that there "wasn't a place for his character," in the second movie. Though on the popular movie site, IMDB, they list him on the character list. So it's rumored that he may make a surprising comeback in the new movie.

In People, Patricia Field filled in the questions that were wondered by fans all over the world about the leaked out photos from the set, such as the flashback pictures where the girls look like they are dressing from the eighties. Field claims, " It was in the beginning of the movie, Carrie was waiting to meet her girlfriends and she was thinking about when she first moved to New York in the '80s and how she met Samantha and Charlotte. They're all, in real time, meeting to go shopping. And in her flashback time, she is thinking of when she first met each one of them."

So we have flashbacks, music and famous celebrity guests to appear in the new Sex and the City 2 movie. And even a wedding! Photos have leaked out of Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall, in a wedding dress. Though rumors are saying that it's going to be a gay wedding for Anthony and Stanford. That's one fun fact that you are just going to have to see for yourself! Until then, anticipate and love these rumors, but be prepared to be deeply surprised in the movie.
