Discontentment

Missy H.
This is a poem about a girl I know

All she wants
is what she wants
but knows she can not get it
Her life always
seems to fall apart
she wonders if she should let it
Thoughts like rain drops
and restless nights
searching for something to hold
She knows that she
will not get any younger
Life, sometimes, can be so cold
Wanting something
that you can not have
never brings total tranquility
Sitting in her own world
she silently wonders
if discontentment is a liability
