Discount Clothing Stores in Boise, Idaho for the Thrifty Shopper
The Best Bet for Tween and Teen Trendy Fashions
Boise Factory Outlet Mall
The Factory Outlet has been a fixture near the Gowen water tower for the past 20 years and is full of amazing bargains for thrifty shoppers.
For tweens, we discovered a Levi Outlet full of discounted Levi jeans, jackets, hoodies, graphic tees, purses and more at a price so low we had to keep rereading the price tags. On the afternoon we were there, my daughter scored an adorable Levi hoodie for $9.99.
Across the parking lot from the Levi store, is a no name store with a marquis that reads " Lee Wrangler Jansport Vanity Fair." We almost passed this one by, thinking that it was just another old lady store but a cute shirt in the window pulled us inside. It did take us a little wandering around to locate the junior section which more-or-less wraps around the east side of the register checkouts. My daughter found a bunch of clearance racks with cute stuff priced for $5 and less, and scored a bag full of hip looking shirts and sweaters for less than $20.
The Boise Factory Outlet is located at 6806 S Eisenman Drive, right off Interstate 84 at the Gowen exit.
Marshalls
Not quite in Boise, but pretty darned close is Marshall's located at 3635 East Fairview Ave in Meridian. Marshalls is more of an upscale discount store with filled with expensive designer clothing lines discounted between 20-60%. The best part of Marshall's is the incredible selection of designer handbags priced 30-50% off of original value.
Ross Stores
Ross Dress For Less is another discount store with clothes for the entire family. The day we were there, the pickings were pretty slim in the junior department though we did find some cute Happy Bunny pjs bargain priced for $9.99.
Ross Dress for Less is conveniently located next to Marshalls at 3353 E. Fairview Way.
Burlington Coat Factory
Like many people, I thought this store just sold coats until a friend of mine mentioned that Burlington was THE best place for baby stuff in Boise. In the middle of all that discounted baby stuff and home furnishings are racks of coats and discounted clothes for kids, men and women. For tweens, the selection of trendy stuff was a little skim the day we visited, but they did have some wicked awesome jewelry, shoes, and accessories.
Burlington Coat Factory is located at 7201 Fairview Avenue in Boise.

Gotta love those thrift stores!
Thrift stores are great. There are alot of good bargains to find at them.
We have some of these around here. Great article!
The focus on this one was really appealing. You are so right about it being hard to find current tween fashions that are reasonably priced.
