Discount Military Ski Lift Tickets Available in Wyoming

Wyoming ski resorts recognize the sacrifice our nation's active duty military members are making in service of our country. To honor their service, Wyoming ski resorts would like to extend a variety of skiing and snowboarding discounts to active duty military to help them get out on the ski slopes during the 2010-11 ski season.

These discounted skiing and snowboarding offers are available to all active duty members of the military with a valid military ID. A few areas even extend the military discounts to immediate family members possessing valid military ID. Active duty military members can then spend the day out on the ski slopes skiing and snowboarding with their spouses and kids.

Grand Targhee Resort (2010-11 season)

Located on the western slope of the Grand Tetons, Grand Targhee Resort is readily accesible from Jackson Hole, WY or from Idaho Falls, ID. Grand Targhee's ski-in/ski-out lodging offers ready access to it's 3,000 acres of terrain and 500 inches of annual powder.

Grand Targhee Resort would like to honor active duty military members by offering them full-day and half-day ski lift tickets for $45. The offer is available to active military and their spouses only. Military ID must be presented when purchasing lift tickets.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (2010-11 season)

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is located adjacent to Teton Village, WY which is just minutes away from the town of Jackson, WY. Jackson Hole is the largest ski area in the state of Wyoming with over 2,500 acres of in-bounds terrain and 3000+ acres of backcountry gate accessed terrain. It receives an average of 459 inches of snow annually.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is proud to offer our nation's active duty military members discounts while skiing and snowboarding during the 2010-11 ski season. Military members can present their valid military ID and receive a 50% discount off the current daily ski lift ticket rate. In addition, military members receive 10% off ski and snowboard rental equipment, 20% off class lessons, and 20% off lodging.

These ski and snowboarding discounts apply for the entire 2010-11 ski season at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The lift discount does not apply to multi-day tickets. Only individuals with valid military ID will receive discounts. Discounts do not apply to spouses, family members, or friends who cannot provide valid military ID.

Snow King Mountain is the convenient town hill of beautiful Jackson, WY. It has 400 acres of ski-able terrain, terrain parks, night skiing, and a tubing park. It hosts many community events, ski races, and rail jams throughout the season.

Snow King Mountain honors our military with a 50% discount off on any ski lift ticket for active duty personnel. Immediate family members of active duty personnel with military ID can usually receive this discount too.

Snowy Range Ski Area (2010-11 season)

Snowy Range Ski & Recreation Area is located 32 miles west of Laramie, WY in the Snowy Range Mountains of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest. This small family-oriented ski area has 27 trails scattered over 75 acres of skiable terrain. The trails are serviced by 4 lifts and receive an average of 250 inches annually.
