Teacher's Discount is a free site that allows educators to sign up by simply registering and verifying school information and credentials. This is sort of like a clearing house for discounts. They have partnered with many well know companies to offer discounts valid online and in person to those in the education field. Some of the companies are Barnes & Noble, Highlights, and Avis, among many others.

Once you register, you simply click on Discounts and then decide which company you are interested in doing business with. You are then directed to a link for that company where you can see all of the discounts they offer to members of Teacher's Discount.

Educator's Travel is a site that is open to current, former, and retired educators. The membership fee is $36 a year with an additional $10 initiation fee. This site offers discounted hotel rooms and accommodations. The rooms are $40 a night with a $5 booking fee. You can see the locations available before you start a membership. This site also offers a limited amount of private homes for use for $50 a night. These homes are part of a home sitting service that the site offers members who will be gone on vacations.

Mud Island River Park in Memphis, Tennessee offers discounts to teachers on many of the park's activities. The discount offered varies depending on the activity. Cruise Direct Online offers discounts on cruises for educators who work at least 20 hours a week and have been employed at least a year under the A+ Savings Program for Teachers and Educators. The discount varies dependent on the cruise selected and the cruise dates.
