Discovering Emotion
Last night I cried a thousand tears
Because I awakened my inner self
And I felt the weight of all the pain I was trying to conceal
My true feelings have been set free
Love has spoken to me in the dark
Into the light I begin to embrace my own heart
Affection is something hard for me to express
Because I like to control everything in my mind
But true love is not something that selfishness can find
This is not an overnight sensation for me
Temptation and Temporary Liberation still surround me
But I am no longer fighting a battle I can never win
It is not healthy to hold everything I feel inside
Sooner or later my emotions will have to come outside
