There are many people who have brand new HDTV monitors or television sets, and are looking around for the best possible way to subscribe to all digital pay stations. In this piece we are going to be evaluating the battle of Dish Network Satellite TV vs DIRECTV. We'll also discuss how digital cable TV measures up.

There are so many critics that review the Dish Network and become very satisfied with their level of quality in both video and audio. Most people argue that the best possible picture is found through the use of this service. It is also very important for us to mention that many stations are broadcast, with encoded surround sound built right into their signal.

There is another thing that most people will agree sets the Dish Network apart from many of the competitors and this would have to be their strive for excellence in customer service. Most web postings on the subject of satellite television are filled with glowing reviews from subscribers that said that the customer service representatives were easy to reach and very helpful while trouble shooting the problem.

The Dish Network does have a lot of people talking because it has some really creative sports based packages. It is so important to note that the best football package in the world of digital pay stations is the NFL Sunday ticket that is sold only by DIRECTV however. This is because football fans are actually able to watch every single game that is in the regular football season.

The best thing that most people had to say about digital cable as an option is that it is sometimes more cost effective than both of the satellite TV options. It is also important for people that like watching movies to know, that most critics claim that the audio and video quality of this type of service does not come close to either satellite option and that the sports selection is slim pickings, when compared to satellite.

The worst things that most people have to say about digital cable is the very unreliable nature of the picture signals. Sometimes the stations go out for very extended amounts of hours. Sometimes they don't go out, they just become filled with glitches even if the weather outside is fine. The customer service representatives tend to know as much about what is going on as the unsatisfied customers do, nothing.

So now, you might be able to make a better selection after you have watched the great between Dish Network Satellite TV vs DIRECTV. You also know where digital cable rates with most serious viewers.
