We all know who Aladdin is. He is the carpet flying orphan who falls in love with a princess. The name is from an Arabic origin. It is also the name of a hero in the story called Arabian Nights. It's meaning is height of faith. This name rings boldness with a feeling of heroic tone.

This character played a valet in the movie 101 Dalmations. This name comes from an Italian decent. The meaning of the name is ready for battle. Certainly a unique and uncommon name to say the least.
Boris
Boris was the grey dog that played on Lady and the Tramp. This name has an origin from Russia and Slavic. The meaning of the name is small battle glory.
Gaston
Remember the jealous and boorish guy on Beauty and the Beast? The origin of Gaston is French and means man from Gascony. Gascony is a region in France. This is surely an original and unique name for your little man. It makes for a good surname as well.

Meeko is the cute, lovable little raccoon that played on the movie Pocahontas. This name means strength and very wise. This is definitely a unique name. It would make for a cute nickname, as well.
Sebastian
Remember the funny crab on the Disney movie The Little Mermaid? Well that is where we get the name Sebastian. This name sounds bold and classic. The meaning of the name is revered and comes from a Greek origin.
Timon
Who could forget that funny little meerkat from the Disney movie The Lion King? Well surely your son would be delighted knowing that you named him after that goofy character. This name means respect and comes Greek origin as well.

Great write up.
I knew a Hugo and a Sebastian once. These are "safer" names than Aladdin, but still uncommon. I think that a boy named Aladdin would probably suffer from that name.

There certainly are some unique names on this list! They all seem reasonable too, though perhaps Aladdin might get stereotyped. These are certainly better choices than other Disney possibilities such as Goofy and Daffy (oh ... are those Warner Bros. names?). Anyway, thanks! This was interesting!
