Travel Documents
The only thing you cannot buy if you forget it is your travel documents. This is a must to bring for your cruise. Pack all of your passports, traveler's checks, credit cards and driver's licenses in your pocketbook or carry-on bag. You will also want to print out any confirmation numbers you received when you made your flight, hotel and cruise ship reservations.
Clothing
The clothing you will need to pack for your Disney Cruise depends upon the season. In the summer you will want to pack comfortable shorts, T-shirts and sundresses. You would need lighter shoes such as flip-flops, sandals, Crocs or tennis shoes. In the winter you may want to throw in a pair of pants and a thin jacket. A pair of sneakers or shoes can be worn on chilly nights. For all of the seasons you will want to pack something more formal for the dining room.
Swimming Items
Disney cruise ships have pools and hot tubs on their ships. This means you will need to pack at least two bathing suits. Chances are your bathing suit may not be dry before you want to go swimming again. In addition, you will want to pack sunscreen to protect you from getting sunburn. A hat, sunglasses and lip balm are also good items to bring on a Disney cruise. Finally, if you have any toddlers with you, you will need to pack some arm floats and swim diapers.
Personal Items
There are certain personal items that the Disney cruise ship may not have. Your contacts and glasses carry your particular prescription and so if you forgot them, you wouldn't be able to get another set. You will also want to bring your favorite shampoo, deodorant, razor, hair brush, toothbrush and feminine hygiene products. If you forget these personal items you can buy some on the ship, but they may not be the brand you like.
Medications
If you take any prescriptions on a daily basis, you will need to bring them with you. You should pack them in your purse or carry-on bag in the containers the pharmacy gave you. You will also want to pack motion sickness medication if you are prone to motion sickness. It is a good idea to bring along a bottle of pain reliever in case you get a headache, and a bottle of Tums in case you get heartburn from eating too much food. Keep in mind too that if you are on any prescription medications or are disabled, you will need to have a form filled out for the ship's doctor before you board. This form must be filled out by your family doctor.
Media Equipment
You are spending a good deal of money to take this Disney cruise so you need to remember to pack your digital camera and camcorder. This will allow you to remember your trip for a long time to come. Make sure you bring back-up batteries and extra discs for your camcorder. If you can't live without your music, then you will want to pack an MP3 player or an ipod.
