Disney G-Force Movie

Gadgets. Gizmos. Guinea Pigs

Marilisa Kinney Sachteleben
G-Force is Disney's latest full-length animated cartoon. The 'G' in 'G-Force' stands for guinea pigs. And I say, 'yeah'! It's about time those endearing little rodents had a cartoon of their own. I have long advocated the cause of guinea pigs; they are lovable, chubby and slightly lazy. Over the years our family has enjoyed the friendship of six guinea pigs. I predict that the popularity of guinea pigs will equal or even surpass that of the current animal favorite, penguins.

G-Force features a SWAT-like team of machine gun wielding guinea pigs. Each guinea pig has his or her own specialty in weapons and combat skills. Anyone who knows anything about Guinea pigs, knows that their proverbially low-key proclivities. Guinea pigs can hardly be bothered to get up and get a drink, let alone fight crime. This oxymoron alone makes the whole concept of G-Force simply hilarious. The G-force features Agents: Darwin, Juarez, Speckles, Hurley and Blaster. With voice talents of Nicholas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Penelope Cruz and one of my favorite actors Bill Nighy, and others, G-Force will be a special treat. G-force opens on July 24, 2009.

Adorable, Mar. Have no experience with them myself, but a gal in Jeanne's adult care home has one. It perches on her shoulder, nibbles at her ears, dozes in the back of her neck, under her looooooong hair. She all-but smothers him to death with love, but he seems to thrive on it. Mom
