Inside the Magic was created by Ricky Brigante with its first air date Aug 13, 2005. The podcast has greatly evolved from that first broadcast. The show has a news from around the world, rumors, behind Disney magic and many other Disney related segments.
The production value of this podcast is probably one of the greatest things this podcast has to offer to the listener. The audio is crisp, the transitions are smooth and the information is always new, or kept up to date. Most every week something new and exciting is happening on the Disney property and Inside the Magic is usually there to cover it.
Ricky lives a few minutes from the park, and that allows is podcast to have a bit of an edge over other Disney World podcasts. Another great part of the podcast is the way the information is presented to the listener. The background music matches the area or theme park the information is coming from. For example, during one segment about the Animal Kingdom there was music playing in the background from the Oasis area in the park. This is a very well thought out and well presented podcast.
You may be reading this and thinking, great it sounds professional but how does that get me back to Flordia. Well the show covers information about the parks. But Ricky also goes into the parks and takes HD video recordings and binaural audio as well. The binaural audio is freely available to the listener as well as most of the HD ride videos. There is a segment by the co-host named Skipper Ben called Crusin' the Jungle. He was once a Walt Disney World cast member and Jungle Cruise skipper.
He not only brings some wonderful cast member stories to the show, but he hosts the Disney top three. The top three segment is voted on by the listener on any subject regarding Walt Disney World. Another personal favorite segment is behind the magic with Mark Peirce. He takes a show or attraction and goes into the history of the item of that segment. He also throws in some fun and unknown facts into the mix of his segment.
Overall this podcast brings Walt Disney World out of Flordia and into your headphones. The podcast is family friendly and overall fun.
