Disney Vacation Club Our Stay at Saratoga Springs

If you have ever taken a vacation or traveled to any destination anywhere in the United States, by now you've surely heard of timeshares vacation rentals and vacation clubs. Typical timeshares only allow you to stay in your vacation property on a preset week of every year or every other year. The same room, the same week, for the period of time. You have no control over how when or where you'll spend your vacation for the next several years as it was already determined when you signed a contract to purchase your interest of the timeshare.

But what happens when you can't go on vacation the same week of every year? Obviously, as time goes on things change, jobs change, kids have school, family emergencies happen, and you just cannot make your predetermined designated vacation rental week. In most cases when this happens you are just flat out of luck, timeshare companies generally do not offer refunds exchanges or credits for the traveler that is unable to use their rented space on their scheduled time. Thankfully the Disney Company has created a solution to the typical timeshare problem. My family and I decided two years ago to join what is called the Disney vacation club. This time share is very different than anything else you would ever expect to see. We paid about $16,000.00 for a number of points that we use every year to stay in one of hundreds of Disney owned resorts located anywhere throughout the world the beautiful part about this program is weakened state and Eras are really want in any size run we want for any period of time as long as we can afford it with the points we have. Last year we stayed at Disney Orlando's Saratoga Springs resort.

This resort is located directly across the bay from downtown Disney. The wife kids, and myself stayed in a two story three bedroom two bathroom ultimate vacation home. The week we spent in Orlando was more enjoyable simply because of the fact that we were staying in something that resembled more of a high dollar dream home then a $40.00 a night hotel room. The look of this place truly surpassed every one of our expectations when I came to furnishings and decorations and ends kitchen supplies the view from the balcony and every other amenity that we could ever ask for in a place you'd spend your vacation. Actually it seemed for the most part that the wife and I had enjoyed more of our vacation in the home than we did going into the parks. The best part about the location of his vacation home was not only that it was located on Disney property but that is also right across the day from one of the only nightlife Disney owned attractions called downtown Disney. Each night after we came home from the theme Parks we had the opportunity to spend many hours just a few minutes from our resort house nor party in the night away and dance clubs bars virgin records stores and Disney quest the ultimate indoor five story amusement center.

The best part about the Disney vacation club for us is that we don't have to go to the same place each and every year. If our desire that next year we're going to a Disney on resort located on Hampton beach South Carolina. And this is just another one of the hundreds of Disney owned resorts that we can stay at thanks to the membership that we now have with the Disney vacation club!
