The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
This is a moderately priced and fun place to stay while at Disney World. Does your family like the outdoor life? If so, then staying at this resort will put smiles on their faces! The resort is on 750 wooded acres. The cabins are quaint, but full of all the necessities required for a comfortable and fun-filled stay. After a day of riding the rides and walking the Magic Kingdom, enjoy your evenings watching the wildlife after you head to your 500 square foot cabin. The cabins have been updated with fresh paint and carpet, as well as furniture in these one bedroom units. There a full bath, living room and a full kitchen. Outside there is a patio area complete with a grill and picnic table. There is a pool and other activities close by for the kids. They are rated as having wheelchair access and you will receive services such as extended theme park hours and resort transportation. Prices vary so check with the resort for accuracy.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
Do you love the charm of the old south? Then stay at this New Orleans inspired resort which is located in the Downtown Disney area. Wrought iron railings and gas lamps add charm to the grounds. Close your eyes and take in the smells of magnolias and Creole food. Again, there are a range of prices and room sizes to fit your budget and requirements. Rooms are stocked with the necessities such as an ironing board and iron, fridge, high speed internet, hair dryer and coffee maker, and much more. Naturally, there is free transportation for guests. Park your car and get around the easy way. There are carriage rides nearby, as well as a conveniently located golf course. Playgrounds are available for the little ones, as well as some wonderful fishing locations. There is a river nearby but it isn't the Mississippi River! This is a great resort y'all!
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
Located in the Magic Kingdom this one is special. Camping is very popular with many people and the campsites here are fantastic. This resort has been open since 9171 and it has the honor of being one of the original accommodations at Disney World. Whether you prefer to stay in a tent or you arrive in a 45-foot motor home, there will be a place for you that will meet your needs. There are comfort stations and laundry facilities available. Each site has cable, water and electric hook-ups, grill, picnic table, privacy landscaping and for an additional charge high speed internet is available. It's all the comforts of home, but at Disney World! If you have a motor home, a camper or a tent, you have the shelter you need, so head on over to the Campsites at Disney's For Wilderness and settle in for some fun times. Prices vary, but are reasonable!
Disney's BoardWalk Villas
If you would like to be close to Epcot, check out the BoardWalk Villas, which were designed to look like Atlantic City and its elegant buildings from the 1940's. Such charm and character is welcoming to many guests. These are deluxe accommodations. There is a large, 25-acre lake where you can rent boats or try your hand at fishing, catch and release only! Or for the more daring, take a turn on the 200 foot long water slide or go for a swim in one of the two pools. The accommodations include either a villa or studio, which ever fits your needs and wallet better. Prices do vary, but for a rough idea a studio can run you $345 a night and a villa starts at $480 and goes up to $1650 a night. As stated, these are luxury accommodations. They contain items such as washers and dryers, mini-kitchens, whirlpool tubs, private balconies and so much more. Treat yourself to a stay at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and enjoy a few days in total luxury.
Disney's Pop Century Resort
This hotel is located at the ESPN Wild World of Sports Area. This is another unique resort at Disney World, but it won't cost you an arm and a leg, just a little under $100 a night. It is fun looking and will bring back memories to some and it will create memories for all. The 2,800 room resort is decorated with 'icons' in bright colors of days gone by, from the 50's right up to the 90's. You can take a dip in one of the three pools, and there is a special play area for the little ones. Room rates vary, as they do at all Disney World Resorts. Amenities include a wall safe, hair dryer and of course Disney cable TV. The Pop Century Resort is wheelchair accessible. For an extra charge rent a small fridge to keep snacks and drinks handy for the kids. Grab a bite to eat at Everything Pop Shopping and Dining where the cuisine is American style.
No matter what your budget or your lifestyle, there is a room with your name on it at Disney World in Florida. Make your reservation now, Mickey Mouse and all his friends are waiting to see you!
