Disneyland Ghost Video and Spooky Paranormal Links

Things to Make You Think

Cathy A Montville
In the spirit of the season, but of course mainly because of my passion for the paranormal and unexplained; I gathered links to a spooky video of a possible ghost at Disneyland and an unnerving movie trailer about potential true alien abductions in Nome, Alaska called, "The Fourth Kind," which is due out November 6. I have also included links to some fascinating, but old ghost photos and worthy-of-note paranormal websites.

Disney Ghost Captured on Security Cameras

This interesting video, captured from security cameras at night at Disneyland, distinctly shows what looks like a specter (?) sauntering along a walkway.

In the video, it appears the ghostly figure walks right through a closed gate. After viewing the video, my first thought was that Walt Disney was making the rounds at one of his beloved parks. It may be a doctored video, but it still caught my attention all the same. See what you think about this video.

"The Fourth Kind" Based on True Stories?

Supposedly based on "actual case studies" of people from Nome, Alaska, who all share some disturbing connections of alien abduction, a Universal movie, "The Fourth Kind," might be your cup of tea. According to the movie trailer, a highly unusual amount of people turned up missing in Nome since the 1960s and despite the efforts of police and the FBI, the disappearances remain a mystery.

In the movie, Psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler, played by actress, Milla Jovovich, begins conducting a sleep disorder study and realizes there is more than meets the eye. When people in the study display odd dream behavior that points to possible abduction, the sleep disorder study takes an alarming turn.

It is interesting to note that I read a blurb on one website that claims no one in Nome has heard of Dr. Abigail Tyler and many doubt the story is true. I did a little research and came up with this interesting article from the non-believers side of the coin. Read it here. Scroll down below the trailer to read the entire article.

Respectable Old Ghost Photos

Using today's digital technology, ghost photos, can be manipulated easily, to look as if something appears in the photo, which was not there to begin with. A fake ghost photo can look amazingly real, but a closer look usually tells a different story.

The most remarkable photo to me here on About.com is one titled "Freddy Jackson." Although the photo was taken in 1919, it was not published until 1975 by a retired R.A.F. officer.

The ghost in the photo is believed to be Freddy Jackson, who was accidently killed two days prior to the photo being snapped. Freddy was an air mechanic who died after he was struck by an airplane propeller, but apparently showed up for his military group photo despite his death.
