Disneyland - a Great Baby Friendly Vacation

Dear Auntie
Time for the annual vacation, time to find that perfect spot where the whole family can relax and have a great time. Might I suggest that if you are a family with children including a baby then Dsineyland might just be the place you are searching for.

Disneyland has made sure that it caters for all and is extremely baby friendly. Behind the Plaza Inn on Main Street you will find the Disneyland Baby Center. Although there is no babysitting service this is a place where you can attend to babies needs in comfort.

Within the center you will find several of your favorite Disney characters and they are there to amuse your baby and other children. They are also there to give you a helping hand should you require one.

The center provides a room that is off limits to men so that Mom can settle into one of the rocking chairs and breastfeed her baby in peace.

The whole center isn't off limits to men though and they can also help with baby. You can heat up food or bottles and clean them afterwards too. There are plenty of changing tables to make diaper changing easy and for those 'big kids' there are small toilets so they can go on learning the art of potty training.

Should you find yourself short of the essentials (it does happen, even to the best of us!) you can even buy supplies at the baby center. They do keep several types of formula and baby food on hand and of course diapers. In fact to purchase a diaper is only $1.00.

The intention is to make sure that every guest at Disneyland will have his/her needs met even if they are tiny.

A Disneyland vacation does usually mean lots of walking around. So I would strongly suggest taking a stroller along. Disneyland welcomes strollers and if you don't wish to pack your own, for less than $10.00 you can hire one. The Disneyland strollers are kept very clean but are all identical so it might be an idea to tie something on the handle so that yours stands out. Perhaps a brightly colored ribbon. By the by should you require 2 strollers then you will get a huge discount on the second one.

Although Disneyland is really baby friendly never make the mistake of leaving your baby unattended. Not everyone in the park could be there for a family vacation. It is your responsibility to keep your children safe.
