Disneyland Halloween Time 2011: Halloween Screams Fireworks Are the Best
Disneyland Halloween Time Fireworks Glow Orange and Black in the Night
The Evil Queen and all her villain pals will be waiting at the gates for the lucky guests who attend the Disneyland Halloween Time event. Held during the evenings with a special ticket for the lucky few who want to be spooked ever so slightly, the park is taken over by the villains in a fun themed evening.
While the trick or treating with the kids is delightful and the chance to take pictures with Mickey Mouse and his pals is fun, one of the biggest highlights of the evening must be at the end with the special fireworks called Halloween Screams.
Lighting up the sky in orange and black, even the spooks see a treat as the Halloween themed pyrotechnics blow in the sky. With the whispers of ghosts and goblins, the park really puts the audience into the mood of Halloween fun after this cool show. Drawing from the villains who live in the Disney stories expect to see the whole crew of misfits, including Captain Hook. Sharing their part of the story, the fireworks are light no other family show and a perfect way to end the evening.
If attending, don't wait until the last minute to find the perfect seat for the show. The kids will thank you later after seeing the entire performance. The closer it gets to Halloween, the busier the park will be so try to scope out your place at least 30 minutes prior to the show (longer closer to Halloween.)
When looking for that perfect spot, keep in mind the best place to watch the show is in front of the castle. For full vision and to hear the music, don't get too close. On Main Street USA from Carnation café to the statue of Walt Disney in the rotunda at the center of the plaza is a perfect location and there is plenty of room there for families. Make sure to the spot is perfect even with all the trees, as the fireworks will be in the sky, watch for balloons, cameras with lights on and other distractions.
