Disney/Pixar Triumphs with Wall-E!

Brilliant! Simply Brilliant! For a film that has probably fewer than 10 pages of dialogue between the main characters, Disney has truly created another masterpiece. Weaving a tapestry of music, creative means of robotic expressions of feeling, incredible beauty in a space ballet, and an environmental theme running through the background of the love story; Disney has created a marvel that seems the result of mixing E.T. with Short Circuit, adding a dash of "Hello Dolly!", and the result is truly touching.

A movie has not made me glow this much in quite some time. Just enough to deeply move without inspiring tears, keep a giggle and a smile going the entire time, and have you humming a tune to boot, this is one for the Academy to seriously consider.

There is even a case for deeply thought out theme as a cautionary tale regarding artificial intelligence, as our good friend "the red eye" of 2001: A Space Odyssey makes an appearance. I'm not much for spoilers, so I won't say much more.

Kids? No kids? Even watching alone, you will not regret watching this movie. Disney/Pixar has made yet another film I am desperate to add to my collection, and will be one of the true jewels in the years to come.
