First of all, if you get yourself to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney will get you to and from the parks during every single day of your stay. This is true of all Disney Hotels. You may think that getting an economy hotel somewhere in Orlando would be the best deal, but then you have to drive to the parks every day, and that costs gas money. (Not to mention, this can be a stressful endeavor, to say the least.) You have to pay for parking every day if you drive your own car. If you don't drive your own car, you have to pay for a taxi or a shuttle from your hotel to the park. It's rare to find free transportation to and from an Orlando hotel not associated with Disney. Even if you can find such a thing, you'll have to worry about staying on their schedule. Private shuttles and buses can also sometimes be unpredictable.
Second of all, stay at any Disney hotel, including the Caribbean Beach Resort, and you can get a free ride to and from the Orlando airport via Disney's "Magic Your Way" service. And get this, they even pick up your luggage for you at the airport, and deliver it to your room.
Let's talk swimming. When it comes to a vacation, a nice pool is an iconic feature. One that everybody envisions will be a part of their trip. At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, there is an abundance of pools. One for every section of rooms, that happen to be named after...what else...Caribbean Islands. There's also a very large main pool with water slides located centrally at the Beach Resort. I can tell you that the pools are always clean, warm enough to get into without wincing, and sparsely populated. My husband and I were always able to get in the pools and have plenty of space and not get splashed on.
The rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort have most of your needs covered. If not all of them. There's an ironing board, a refrigerator, two large beds, a cot, a kitchen table, a coffee-maker, a nice clean bathroom, a large sink and vanity area, and pretty much what you'd expect from any hotel. But Disney's maid service was impeccable. When you needed anything day or night, all you had to do was pick up the phone and dial zero, and they could answer any question on the spot. The rooms themselves are clean and relaxing.
Everything from check-in to check-out at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort went seamlessly smooth. The staff were incredibly helpful, the environment was relaxing, and best of all, getting to and from the parks every single day was a worry-free experience. The best thing about staying at a Disney resort is the all-inclusive feeling, and the fact that you'll actually save money and time in the end. You get to take a vacation from driving, from gas stations, from bus schedules, and hotel shuttles! Pair that with the unique Caribbean theme to the hotel, with all the bright colors and unique settings, and you'll have a highly memorable Disney vacation that was surprisingly easy to manage. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and in this case, a stay at this hotel may be worth the seemingly extra expense.
